Sights for Hope Endowment Fund
Sights for Hope, formerly known as the Center for Vision Loss, empowers people with visual impairments in the Lehigh Valley to achieve their greatest independence and opportunity and champions healthy eyesight throughout the region. Its guiding principle since 1928 is that a visual impairment should never be a barrier to achievement or a life of independence, dignity, and hope.
Sights for Hope’s services for people with visual impairments promote the accomplishment of daily tasks, increased access to medical services and food supplies, enhanced personal wellness, and extended self-sufficiency. Its free vision screenings for children stimulate success in school and our community education programs advocate for eye health and safety. A total of 85% of Sights for Hope clients and patients with visual impairments are from low-income households.
Sights for Hope provides all its services at little or no cost in part because of support it receives from supporters like you. Your gift to the Sights for Hope Endowment Fund through the Lehigh Valley Community Foundation will enable generations of people to experience a quality of life that everybody deserves.
