Raymond-Cryder Designated Fund
Established in 2004 with the transfer of assets from the Raymond-Cryder Foundation, a private foundation, the Fund provides annual grants to The Juilliard School in New York City and to West Chester University in West Chester, PA. Grants to these schools provides for scholarships for students studying music, preferably choral direction.
The late John Raymond was a former Chair of the Music Department at Lafayette College, where he taught for over 25 years, and produced many chorales for the school. Elton Cryder was his brother-in-law who lived in Bloomsburg, PA.
