Cristen Charnley Memorial Fund

Established in 2024, the Cristen Charnley Memorial Fund at the Lehigh Valley Community Foundation is a donor-advised fund that provides grants to charitable programs and organizations in the Lehigh Valley region.

On September 21, 2024, Cristen Charley passed away on her 45th birthday after a two-and-a-half-year battle with kidney cancer.  A mother of two amazing kids and two crazy dogs, a loving wife, and compassionate friend to so many. She taught algebra, geometry and calculus at the Easton Area High School for over 20 years.

This fund has been started by those who she loved and who loved her unconditionally as a memorial to her kindness, empathy, and compassion, to continue to help others achieve their educational goals.

This memorial fund will initially sponsor an annual scholarship to a senior at the Easton Area High School who is furthering their education in STEM fields. As the fund grows, it will support other philanthropic endeavors that would be supported and loved by Cristen.

We appreciate all of the fund donations and considerations.

Gifts to the Fund can be made by submitting a check, payable to the Cristen Charnley Memorial Fund to the Lehigh Valley Community Foundation, 840 W. Hamilton Street, Suite 310, Allentown, PA 18101.  Gifts can also be made via credit card by clicking the link below.
