Bethlehem 225th Anniversary Fund
Created in 1968 with funds remaining from Bethlehem’s 225th anniversary celebration, this Fund was the first broadly charitable fund of the Bethlehem Area Foundation, LVCF’s predecessor organization. Creation of a permanent community endowment – to meet changing community needs and opportunities – was a specific goal of the 225th anniversary celebration. The Bethlehem Anniversary Fund has been providing unrestricted annual support for more than 45 years.
