 Ann C. Bernard Memorial Scholarship Fund

Established in 2004 to memorialize Ann Bernard, this Fund provides annual grants to the Northern Lehigh School District for the awarding of the Ann Bernard Memorial Scholarship for graduating students who have “overcome adversity, personal or academic, during their school careers with the help of one of the elementary school counselors.”  Scholarship award winners are chosen by the High School.

For 16 years, Ann was an advocate for children in her position as the Slatington Elementary School Counselor.  She also volunteered in the Slatington area serving with the Slatington Junior Women’s Club, the School’s PTO, and the Northern Lehigh Community Service Coalition.
