Frederick W. Hahn Scholarship Fund
In 2016, Karen Hahn established the Frederick W. Hahn Scholarship Fund in memory of her late husband. The scholarship fund supports post-secondary education for Parkland High School students that are intending to study either business or medical research upon graduation.
Frederick was a graduate of Pen Argyl High School, Moravian College, and Lehigh University, where he received his Masters Degree. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, who served in the Vietnam War and attained the rank of Captain. For 37 years, Frederick passionately worked as the school psychologist at Parkland Area School District. He passed away on February 12, 2012.
The creation of this scholarship fund will allow Frederick to continue to be an important and remembered figure in the Parkland School District by supporting the academic endeavors of the students that meant so much to him throughout his career.
Gifts to the Fund can be made by submitting a check, payable to Frederick W. Hahn Scholarship Fund to the Lehigh Valley Community Foundation, 840 West Hamilton Street, Suite 310, Allentown, PA 18101. Gifts can also be made via credit card by clicking the link below.
