The Delphine Quinn Perpetual Fund
Delphine Quinn was born and raised in Easton, and she graduated from the Allentown General Nursing School in the 1940s. She was a compassionate nurse who traveled the country to help patients in the 1950s, a time when travel was not easy, and she even traveled to Indian reservations in Oregon, Arkansas and Minnesota to work as a registered nurse.
Delphine loved the profession, and she wanted her legacy to support others in this field for which she so deeply cared. The Delphine Quinn Perpetual Fund was established with a bequest from Delphine, who passed away on May 8, 2015. The Fund supports nursing education at Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network and Lehigh Valley Health Network; pediatric patient care at Good Shepherd; and the Good Samaritan Fund at Moravian Village.
